The Nu Flex Band Reggae Band from Brooklyn, NY

The Nu Flex Band was synchronistically created out of the mutual sheer desire & passion to share our talents unfettered. Two "sister" friends, that were once members of the same band, were now sharing similar music experiences in separate bands. Both had similar passions & desires of "wanting our voices to be heard". It was a long time coming, but we both knew & understood that nothing happens before its' time. Indika Rocks, has been a popular songstress of the underground NYC reggae music scene since the early 90's; while Ms. Elle was unexpectedly singing around 2014, when discovered, influenced & inspired by her sistren, Indika Rocks. Together we have had the pleasure of backing great artists like Yvad Davy (formerly of The Wailers) Keeling Beckford & more. The Nu Flex Band was not created for one to outshine the other, but for each light to illuminate & compliment the other's. Together, we are the inferno that hits the ears which funnels to our audiences soul! We aim to capture & infect our audience with our energies & change the atmosphere by infusing the different sounds of Reggae with other music genres. Together with our 6 piece band makes for the sweet icing on the cake, making each tone & melody sound like the heartbeat & pulse of each electrifying performance!
