Always a King- Curt's Tribute to Elvis Elvis Impersonator from Flint, MI

I have been a Elvis Tribute Artist for many years....my first public performance starting at the tender age of 9 years old. I won my first talent show in 6th grade at the age of 12 at the brand new school Schickeler Elementary School in Lapeer. This was during our bicentennial year (1976) and the real ELVIS was still touring the country. I again competed in the talent shows in 10th and 12th grades as well as in choir class where i got an A+ for my Elvis tribute. After high school i went into the Army (into tanks since Elvis did) and went to Germany. While there I did my tribute to ELVIS on my off duty time. I was working as a roadie for a German band called Lemon Heart and jamming on the sound checks with them to Elvis.....They fired their opening act and hired me to finish the tour with them. This culminated in me performing in 10-15000 seat arenas across Germany. When I came home from Europe I didn't like the way that they were treating Elvis impersonators so I retired my act until 2022. In January 2022 someone I sent a sound clip too played it for someone who invented me to compete in the Ultimate Elvis Competition sponsored by Graceland. This was in July 2022 in Kissimmee, Florida. After being retired for 40 years I placed 6th out of 25 competitors. I have been doing shows ever since.
