"Hard Times Band" is a well known West Michigan classic rock / blues band playing 70s - 80s and 90s+ classic rock. We blend in blues and slow music making our show more versatile. All members have years of playing experience. Over the years members have been involved with all types of venues to include: weddings, festivals, corporate events, clubs, bars, benefits, and special ocassions. So to say: "been there done that", fits this group of very well. A copy of our current setlist is provided on the "Bash" website. It is subject to change so, "PLEASE REVIEW"! Members have a professional demeanor, and will always treat people with respect! During show's we love to invite crowd participation and involve our crowd in what we do. Participation just makes an event more fun for everyone! No matter the ocassion, we have a great time performing "recognizable" classic rock / blues and upbeat country for you. No crowd is too young or too old to not enjoy our music. Our music selection is widely varied by different artists. Our songs are definitely recognizable by all age groups. We see people tapping their feet and singing along to "known songs" as we move through our sets. We may even throw in a few "good ol songs" that other bands just "refuse to play". But, we bet you know and remember these songs. It's just possible you may remember where you were when you first heard them? As said, "Hard Times" is 4 piece group of seasoned musicians. We love what we do and we love people. A large crowd is great but, small gatherings are equally a great time as well. We enjoy performing for 50 people as much as we do 5000! Travel is no problem. We have and will play most anywhere. Throughout the years, members have played all over Michigan, and some in surrounding states. If hired, a request may be made for an early setup time prior to your event. This insures that our setup is not rushed and, allows a proper "sound check" to be completed before the festivities begin. A request may also be made to meet with clients at the party location before the actual event if at all possible? (Preferred). This "early meeting" will allow us to discuss the setup area and a plan "B" should something have changed last minute. The day or evening of your event we will always be early. We will be dressed appropriately for for your event. A check for necessary attire will also be made with the organizers prior to your special time. This is "Hard Times" in a nutshell with no "fluff"! "Thank You" for taking time to look at this hard driving classic rock band! We look forward to seeing you in the future! Note: Bid for your special time may take up to a day. It is necessary to contact band members for availability. Some have day jobs, so contact may take some time. Photos posted are from past events.
